The wine tradition in the heart of Sulcis-Iglesiente

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Wines and Vineyards

To uncork a bottle of our wine is to breathe in the aromas of our grapes, to walk through our land, and to feel the warmth of our sun and the strength of the winds that shape this place.

In the Cixerri Valley, between Iglesias and the sea, we cultivate our vineyards with care, rooted in a family wine-growing heritage that reaches back more than a century.

ESSENCE OF WINE

The fragrance and flavour of our land in every bottle

Passion in every bottle

A painstaking and deeply expressive winemaking process, where selected grape clusters are left to dry slowly on the vine, yielding wines of remarkable concentration and character. Every bottle tells the story of our land, the Sulcis-Iglesiente, where the Mediterranean sun, the sea-salted winds and the mineral-rich soils give our wines a character that is unmistakably their own.

OUR WINES

Discover the richness of Sardinian wine and tradition

The character of our vineyards in every bottle

Every bottle of our wine has its own personality and follows its own distinct path. Each label is a unique project, a meeting of refined aesthetics and a deep passion for wine. From the fresh, mineral-driven Vermentino whites to the intense reds of Cannonau and Carignano, every wine is born from the selection of the finest grapes and from daily dedication in the vineyard and the winery.

Guest Feedback and Reviews

An excellent and authentic experience. We attended a full tasting of Cantina Aru wines, complemented by a visit to their remarkable ethnographic museum, a true journey through the history and culture of this territory. The owner, Mario, and his nephew are warm, passionate people dedicated to their work. Mario in particular has a rare gift for conveying, with knowledge and genuine warmth, his love for his land and for a project that, though still young, is already crafted with care down to the finest detail. A must-visit for anyone wishing to discover the most authentic side of Sardinia, through wines of real character and stories that stay with you.

Wonderful! We almost stumbled upon it by chance, and they welcomed us, telling us everything about what they do, letting us taste their products, with a full tour of the estate where objects tied to the life of the era and to wine production are lovingly preserved. Outstanding products and hospitality that deserves every praise. Absolutely worth a visit!

We were enchanted by the sight of the neat, grape-laden rows ready for harvest framing the farmstead, and by the surrounding rooms that house a small museum of winemaking and agricultural tools, as well as everyday objects from another age. Mario, the owner — a person of exceptional warmth and kindness — welcomed us and told us the story of each wine he produces with a passion that moved us deeply. Every tasting was accompanied by the tale behind the name and the making of that wine. I may be just an enthusiastic wine lover, but I have no hesitation in saying that he produces wines of outstanding quality.
